We are rapidly building out a global network of linked information about all aspects of the scholarly research process. From people (ORCIDs), to institutions (RORs), to papers (DOIs), to data (DataCite), to projects (RAiDs), scholarly publishers, librarians, and researchers are contributing to a global network of research information. It can be difficult to keep up with the alphabet soup of identifiers, and the myriad ways in which identifiers can be used to facilitate access, discovery and reuse of research information. This session will provide a network-wide overview of the identifier landscape, and updates from the various corners of this important web that connects and makes the various research component network-ready. You'll hear in this session the exciting innovations that are taking place and understand how these developments can support the use and reuse of your content, as well as prepare you for the machine-intermediated world that we're beginning to enter.
